No, it wasn't spiritual, but it was fast and efficient service on a Sunday morning after having discovered, late Saturday nite, that my residential sewer line was clogged. No drainage at all! I made an appointment using the website for between 8-noon on Sunday morning; got a call at 715am that Bill would be there in one hour; he arrived on time and cleaned out the line. Not exactly a religious experience, but uplifting in its own way.

This place is currently charging $240 + tax per cord (alot of wood for one house), and $140 for a half cord. Delivered. The wood is "seasoned", meaning (so they say) it was cut 8-10 mos ago.

See my previous post. This little place is a touch of France: the right feel and charm, and great food. The prices are reasonable, and the carafes of wine are very good and a way to economize.

This place is great! I would give it a perfect, but perfection is philosophically unattainable for me.
Great seafood, as well as pasta, meat, etc. It is located on the Ship Canal, at the South side of the Fremont Bridge. On a warm day or evening sit on the deck and watch the many and varied boats go by. Inside the decor is something like an Italian country bistro (whatever that looks like). Service was friendly, professional, and not intrusive.

Michel Stern, of counsel with the Bellvue firm of Osern, Hahn, Spring, & Watts, has been practising law for 35+ years. He and his firm are top notch, he is a great guy, and his fees are more reasonable than you will find for some one of his stature and experience. I have practised law with him some years ago, and have known him for many years.

I have not been to Chester Dorsey's, but he has been located at 22nd and Madison for many years, and always seems to be busy when I drive by.

As an update, I saw Dr. Warnekros on April 27, 2006. He is in the same location near U. Village. He knows feet and sports related or overuse injuries. I recommend him.

Although I am not a cyclist, Gregg's has been around for years. You can't go wrong with them. My son is seriously into bikes, has gone there from time to time, and has been happy.

There are two Essential cafe/bakeries: Madison Valley, at Madison and MLK, and in Fremont. The baked goods are great, as is their coffee. A combination you will not often find.

They would probably have a recommendation on an insurance agent.
