Being the only major university in southern Nevada, the University of Nevada, Las Vegas is pretty much the only place to go after you graduate high school. The campus is really nice, but it is a bit hard to find your classes sometimes since it's everything is all spread out over a one mile city block. The teachers, for the most part, are very well qualified for their positions, which makes UNLV a great educational opportunity.

The GameWorks sits in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip and gets tons of visitors every day. It's probably the largest arcade in all of Nevada and has everything you could want. However, the prices are a bit high though. Expect to spend $20-$30 if you are going to stay for at least an hour. Although it costs a bit, it's still worth it.

Whenever I want to see a movie, I go to the Brenden Theaters at the Palms. I used to be a fan of the Century Theaters at the Orleans, but for some reason they don't always have the newest releases. The Brenden Theaters do however. They also have a pretty nice dining area in front of the theatres if you want to catch a bite to eat before or after the movie. The seats are nice and comfy and you don't have to worry about somebody's head getting in the way.

The Stratosphere Tower sits away from the heart of the Las Vegas Strip and for good reason too. If you're ever flying into town, or even driving for that matter, it's almost impossible to not see the Stratosphere Tower. Once you get up to the top, the view is incredible. There are also a few places to eat, drink, as well as rides up there as well. However, the only ride I would recommend would be the Big Shot. The other ones just aren't worth paying for.

The Shark Reef at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino is a fun place to take your family. If it swims, you'll find it here. Sharks, crabs, eels, everything! It's a wonderful site to see and is among one of the best aquariums in Las Vegas at the moment. If you're ever around the Mandalay Bay, be sure to stop by and take a look at The Shark Reef.

There are many companies that offer tours of the Hoover Dam, but the Hoover Dam Tour Company is one of the best out there. They offer tours via foot, boat, or even helicopter. I did their walking tour and they showed us everything we could possibly want to see, inside and out. Although it was pretty hot when I went, my family and I still had a great time. Highly recommended!

They had a wide selection of plants, trees, and shrubery that would accent the look of our house as well as backyard.
