OK, so this is the type of place that is meant for the sports fan to come and watch the games and drink beer and eat crappy food. Unfortunately, when you don't know that and come here just for the food, you are extremely disappointed. And by you, I mean me and my two friends who stopped in. OK, maybe the food wasn't TERRIBLE, but the atmosphere and service was. I felt like the power had gone out because the lighting was so bad.
I ordered a chicken chesapeake sandwich which was decent, I would have rather had more crab than sauce, but once again-what can I expect. My friend got chicken tenders and fries--they seemed to look ok. My other friend ordered the special- shrimp, crab balls, fries, and coleslaw. WHAT A RIP OFF. There were three crab balls and four shrimp and the crab balls were burned and looked dry (Crabby Dick's, in Fells Point, has the best crab balls).
Now about the service. While we were almost finishing up, a huge group of people came and sat in our area (there were other places to sit in the restaurant), and they didn't fit at the table next to us so they started to overflow onto the tables surrounding it. So the server drops down our check and says to them, as soon as they leave (they meaning us) I'll pull the tables together. Uhhhhhhh basically we had to leave ASAP. Definitely didn't feel appreciated as a customer.
Oh yea, and they don't accept separate checks.
