Grace Family Eye care is a relatively new eye glasses optical center in chinatown. they have an optometrist on site for you to get your eyes checked if you do not have a presecription. they have a lot of the modern and trendy frames but as they are smaller retail stores the prices can get pretty high, especially for the titanium ones.

I went to this school to check out their wing chun martial arts program. Let me say that i was not greeted very well. First their adult class is a joke, only 4 people present. None of them offered to let me join in so i sat in the back. I came back on the weekend to meet their sifu. And when i arrived he did not even bother to greet me. their childrens program seem to be better. I did not even stick around, since they were so rude. I am much happier training at the local universities where they take more time in attracting new students. Also their training hall is tiny.

Their prices are standard as they do not have many sales as they are a specialty store. You might want to try borrowing manuals from local troops if your troop is short on funds.

The Art Store is a very good store to go to purchase art supplies for your art class. They have lots of deals on art supplies especially during the start of the school year. I must have spent over $100 on art supplies but they were so much cheaper than other stores. I am very happy with my purchases.

The Lake Lawn Golf course is a beautiful 18 hole course that is beside a lake. The view from there is so beautiful in the fall. The fairways are quite long, ranging from 300-500 yards each. but luckily they include with the greens fee a golf cart that has a GPS system. I have played here twice and will go again in a few weeks.

Lake Lawn Resort is a nice resort to visit if you are looking for a nice getaway from Chicago. It is about a one and a half hour drive from Chicago. There is a spa there along with an indoor pool, exercise room and game room. I have been there twice for a weekend out of town and love it. The price is reasonable there too. Also it is a good place to hold work conferences.

In the American Girl Store your kids can pick out their "baby." They have a variety of skin colors, eye colors, and hair colors to choose from. After picking out their new baby, they have the opportunity to accessorize with clothes, hats, shoes. etc. This is where most of your money will go. some of the clothing costs just as much, if not more, than the clothes your kids are wearing. Definitely not a cheap store if you consider the long term implications of getting your child a doll here.

This Dunkin donuts usually has a short wait for a cup of coffee and a donut. Their large coffees are not too expensive compared with Starbucks and if you ask for extra cream, it tastes excellent. Their bagel and cream cheese is quite good, with my favorite being the toasted onion bagel with chives cream cheese. Their donuts are ok but the sure are not Krismy Kremes. their new Coolatas are good too.

One thing you will notice right away is how clean Pete's Market is. their maintence staff must be commended for their dedicated service in keeping Pete's ultra clean.
