The Science Center of Iowa, Des Moines

Thursday, August 18, 2005
Although the Science Center of Iowa is not new, it's not flashy by today's standards for new museums, and it's probably not the most popular Des Moines attraction. The Science Center of Iowa is, though, full of hands-on exhibits that teach things like static electricity, how volcanoes erupt, etc.. One of the highlights for people not as interested in science is still the laser show. Especially for a rainy day, the Science Center of Iowa is worth a visit, regardless of your age or interest in science.
