I found this store in the yellow pages when I was looking for a place that sells handmade paper. I was told on the phone by one of their staff that they do carry them so I took a trip to walnut creek and found their store. I almost missed because their store sign was so small. It is a small art supply store with very limited selections. I didn't find what I needed and probably will never go to that store again.

Kim's Orchid is a little flower shop dedicated to orchids and is located in the Corte Madera Town Center Shopping Plaza. It's a small store but they carry a large variety of beautiful orchid species. They also sell bonsai plants, bamboo, and many more that I don't know the names of in addition to their main attraction, the orchids.

Kidniki is such a great clothing store for small children. They carry the cutest clothes. I often pass by here during my lunch break from work and browse through their merchandise to see what I can get for my kids. It's hard to pry myself from the store to go back to work because their merchandise are just so endearing.

The Karaoke Discount Center carries quite a large selection they have of karaoke dvds and vcds. I was also surprised to see their prices were relatively inexpensive in comparison to other retailers. They carry most of the new english songs as wells as songs in in other languages like filipino, chinese, japanese and spanish.

I don't know of any other florist in Hercules except this one. And this one is pretty good. They are pretty conveniently located in a shopping area with lots of available parkng. I've only been in there once and they have a very nice selection of flowers to choose from. I have also received arrangements from them that was purchased by my husband and delivered to our home and the arrangements were always beautiful.

This hair salon is right off the freeway and is located in a shopping area with lots of available parking. Their storefront sign is not extraordinary and the inside of the salon is not at all attractively decorated. It is not very well lighted inside, I think most of the lighting is from the storefront windows. The hair stylists are nice though and chatty.

Goodnite Moon is such a wonderful toy store. I can't pry my kids out of this store! They just love browsing around looking at each toy that's displayed. We never leave this store without having to buy at least one item. I sometimes deliberately try to avoid walking by this place with my kids because they recognize the storefront and cry if I don't let them go in. So beware parents. Unless you're willing to spend some money don't go in.

Seafood City is located a little far from the freeway. They have a fairly large parking lot so parking is not a problem. It is an asian foods grocery store. It is a large grocery store similar in size to Albertson's or Safeway. I often shopped here after work when I worked in the area. They have a large selection of produce, seafood and the like. I went here to stock up on asian food items that I can't find in the regular grocery stores. Their prices are relatively cheaper than most even on produce.

Games Unlimited is located close to the freeway in a large shopping plaza. There is plenty of parking here unless it's a busy season like in December. Their storefront display is not exceptional but it did attract my curiosity. They have a nice selection of board games and some unusual games. The store is relatively small as compared to Toy's R Us but it is an interesting place to browse around in.

The Oakland Zoo, also known as the Knowland Zoo, is a wonderful zoo albeit a little smaller by comparison to the on in San Francisco. They have a children's zoo but they only have a few animals there and the main attraction are the goats that are wandering freely around. At a fee you can purchase food for these goats and feed them. They also have a sky lift that can take you to the other end of the zoo and back again. The view from up there is wonderful. There is an area by the parking lot where they have a number of rides for kids like a small amusement park.
