I always loved Goodman's old theatre off Columbus Avenue behind the Art Institute--great talent, set apart from all the others. But it's new digs on Dearborn in what is now Chicago's official 'theatre district' houses 2 fabulous theatres, and who wants to walk 6 blocks after dinner anyway? Local talent, Broadway plays, a traditional 'Christmas Carol' (and a new one with a gospel-influenced theme) all put a great face on theatre in Chicago!
