You won't find summer blockbusters complete with car chases and explosions at the Rialto. If however sophisticated, intelligent independent films and foreign cinema are your cup o' java, you won't want to miss this fantastic old theater. Located close to the 5 Corners neighborhood of inner beltline Raleigh, the Rialto has been delighting theater patrons for decades. Its customers keep coming back, making this place a treasure for those who know about it. For everybody else, there's always those megaplexes up the road in the suburbs. But don't count on any showings of movies that are actually good. The good ones will be flickering on the screen at the Rialto.
