Good for Cowpokes

Monday, August 15, 2005
The Amon Carter Museum specializes in portraits and paintings of the Old West. You'll find Charles Russell paintings and other famous artists who captured the spirit of the cowhand and their horses during the move west. The Museum is clean and well-lit, but unless you're a huge fan of this type of art, it is somewhat limited and perhaps a little dull. They do have some nice exhibits at times, however, and some of their oils are both rare and exceptional.
