The most awful service I have received since I have been driving !!!!!! I went to Pep Boys for a major tune up and they did as I asked and was very happy with the service until I was called back to the garage by a tech and they said the tune up was not the problem ! It was told to me that my motor was running rough because I needed an intake manifold gasket put on ! But before I decided the truck stall in the middle of the road so after getting it started I hurry up and drove it to them and told them okay to do the procedure ! I Once again I asked them this will stop my truck from stalling in the middle of the road and a yes was answered to me ! Then i asked about the vibration stopping and once again the answer was a yes ! I receive a call that my truck was ready and to come and pick it up and when I get their someone decided to put other things on my truck ! So I stopped that because no one had called me to authorize the other projects ! So now nearly paying Pep Boys a thousand dollars for the tune up and the intake manifold gasket I had figure everything was going to be alright . But it was not alright because my motor was still running rough ! So that evening I drove the truck and the truck stalls in the road at night one car to the left , right , behind me and in front of me ! Thank God no car hit me and no one was hurt ! I had to push my truck to the side and leave it their until the next morning ! Took the truck to another shop and it was told to me that I needed a distributor ,motor mounts to stop the vibration , and a carburetor to stop my motor from being so rough ! I really believe Pep Boys tried to cover up their mistake ! If i did not get the call and got their early they would have put and carburetor on and I would have never known about the big mistake ! The charge would have been so high that I would have never been able to get my truck back !!! It never needed an intake manifold gasket job !!!!!!!
