Constructed in mid '60s by a local investers patterned after Cypress Gardens in Florida. Daily activities included four ski shows and private functions. Private ownership lasted about five years and then returned to the city. The lagoon is about 40 feet deep with a large amount of sunken evidence of the Ski Team equipment. Many memories from those days.
