Our family dentist recommended Dr. Shabtaie for my little 7 year old son to have his decayed baby teeth removed. He is pretty nervous around dentists, so as typical worried parents, both myself and my wife decided to go in with my son. The staff welcomed us and were really pleasant. The doctor came in and spent some time chatting with us and my son, and made us all at ease. The look in my son's eyes was very calm, and we knew he is comfortable with what was going on. The doctor was very thorough and answered all our questions. My son did famously during the procedure, and had almost no pain at home, running around and playing as if nothing happened. The doctor talked him through the whole process during his procedure. Th experience was so pleasant for all of us that I asked the staff if Dr. Shabtaie can be our family dentist. They assured me that they will be happy to take care of all oral surgery needs in the future, but the doctor only performs oral surgery.
