I was contacted by Randstad mid December and went through all their interviews and paperwork. I thought they would help me find a job.\r \r Unfortunately, the jobs they sent me to for an interview(Yes, Interview, not even an actual assignment) were for jobs that were completely out of my experience level. It was very frustrating for me because I knew I was not what the company wanted(They want experience, not someone who's looking to try a new skill set.) I've remained in touch and would have to send an Email to my recruiter to receive an update(if you want to even call it that.) Not to mention I've been one of their candidates for months now and have only been on 3 interviews.\r \r Stacey was really nice, and really liked me. She constantly mentioned that I was awesome, but after having such lackluster results over the past few months, I decided to look for a job on my own. \r \r Literally after 1 week of applying and setting up interviews, I was hired for a Full Time position! I'm happy I will not have to deal with the Temporary aspect that the Randstad recruiters had always warned and informed me about. Now I have a job that's concrete and gives me peace of mind. \r \r Randstad was a waste of time, but I appreciate their attempt to help me... more
