I would like to address the posts regarding Ms. Cheryl.\r I am 23 years old.\r I went to Memorial school school of Music when I was just 10, and I can say without a doubt that Cheryl Hall is one of the most inspiring, inspirational, and kind women I have ever met. When I was ten years old, I had a very poor home situation. Cheryl Hall (my then guitar teacher) was the first person to take a general interest in my musical ability. She inspired me to write music at a very young age, and because of that I have been able to make something beautiful out of my circumstances. She was a phenomenal teacher I can only guess that a spoiled memorial housewife could mistake such an amazing women for anything less. Since having Cheryl as my guitar teacher 13 years ago, I went on to win every single battle of the bands Stratford High school, The Guthrie center, and the surrounding churches of the memorial area put on. Because of the confidence I gained in her classroom, I was able to advance in the music scene in Houston rapidly. By 19 I had my first sell out show with my band Suburban warfare at the House of Blues. By 21, I made it to the 8th round of American Idol. Cheryl wasn't just an influence to me when I was a child either. When I lost my grandparents at 18, Cheryl started showing up at my shows. She cried when saw how much I had improved with the skills SHE fostered in me. I was browsing the internet searching for Ms. Cheryl Hall because I am now sending out invitations for my College graduation. I grew up without a mother, but when I think about how far I've come, and who it was that really had an impact on my life, \r I can not think of a single person more influential that Ms. Hall.\r Cari Quoyeser more
