Horrible experience with this company. My car was stalled in a flooded area on Southwest parkway. A good Samaritan gave us a ride to my apartment. I was so nervous and worried about my car. So I called for a cab to take me back to the location and while waiting for the cab I preceded to call for towing to meet us there. Because of the flood most tow companies were booked up and the next on the list was A & A. The good Samaritan who gave us a ride from the location to my apartment refuse to charge me for gas and even the cab driver stopped the meter and charged me 1/2 of what he could have charge me just trying to help. When we got to the location of my car was it was gone. I received a call from the female dispatch that the tow guy had moved my car and was waiting on me to arrive. This man moved my car NOT EVEN a 1/2 mile to a vacant parking lot and told me it would be $178 to take it to my apartment complex. The cab driver suggested we try and jump the car to see if it would start, he tried to connect the cables but failed so the tow truck driver jumped the car and thank goodness it started. He still charged me $178 plus an extra $75 dollars for the jump. I didn't have that much on me because my card had exceeded the $ limit. I begged and pleaded with this guy and the dispatch but they refused to compromise and said that if I did not pay it they would take my car and the price would go even higher. The cab driver (a stranger) offered to pay the remaining balance and I reimbursed him at day break... After all the good Samaritans sent my way I felt so blessed until I came in contact with this Co. I feel as though I was taken advantage of, SAD...........................
