@ Mike T, that screams more of your insurance company and their adjuster than the actual body shop- In my experience, shops can only do what the insurance company allows them to do unless they can prove it is from the claim. typically engines are not damaged from a collision, and if they are, the damages are obvious. I am not sure if Rocky Mountain Collision employs a mechanic on site or if they take their mechanic work to a seperate shop, which is very common practice in the industry, but it seems you are being a bit harsh on a company that has only done me good over the last 10 or so years. The staff there are super friendly and on spot, they repair a lot of work for free as a favor and even take me to work and take my car to me when it is all done! I hope you work closely with them and see the real issue lies with your insurance company and not the shop more
