Trying to work something out on a 3.5 year old door that had a defect on day one. The installer ""fixed"" it by installing a screw which worked loose and bent both the panel with the screw and the corner of the adjacent panel. Now I have a loud snapping noise each time the panels bind on opening or closing.\r

Since no warranty claim was filed at that time of installation, it is unclear what Clopay will do. Installer denies ever putting a screw in my door, so Coast feels they shouldn't pay for replacement panel(s). Coast Overhead has offered to install any replacement panels that Clopay may provide if they are willing to admit the original product was flawed.\r
