Called Agee's to fix AC water overflow, our five year old Carrier was working great until they replaced a capacitor which the technician claimed would be "going out" soon......On the system diagnostics he reported the system was not cooling and outside unit was dirty (it was cleaned six weeks prior) after he finished "fixing the problem" the system ran continuously and started blowing out hot air. I will not use this company again.
RESPONSE FROM Agee's Service Co Inc:
When Agee's arrived at the home, we cleared the drain line, cleaned and adjusted the blower. We also recommended a dual capacitor as it was showing signs of weakness and a start assist kit to help extend the life of the compressor. The client accepted both of these recommendations and also signed up for our maintenance plan to have regular scheduled maintenance done on the system. When we returned, we found the air filter very dirty and we obviously missed this on the first call. We deeply regret the mistake and are sorry that the Angell's have decided to use another service company in the future. We are sending a refund check for the full amount of the maintenance agreement.
