In short......although he came by very late (a plus, I thought at the time - not so much now), his immediate diagnosis was that the refrigerator was hopelessly compromised because it had a leak somewhere in the system where he couldn't get at it. His advice was to scrap the thing (which ad worked beautifully for 7+ years), and allow him to add some coolant to save our food while we shopped around. Long story short - the coolant not only didn't work, the temperature took an abrupt spike, and upon further inspection, I found that the vents in the rear of the freezer were clogged, and once cleared, the air flow improved dramatically (unfortunately, it clogged again very quickly, and after calling another service, the problem was discovered to be a bad control board - $200. Problem solved. On inspection, the other serviceman said ""I haven't used a bullet valve since the early 1980's"", and proceeded to show us that it was placed so shoddily that it was practically hemorrhaging coolant.
They have done good work for our other appliances (washer / dryer), but this was lazy (to be kind), a serious screwup, and cost us money. Thus my review.
