I went to D'ambras to inquire about a Toyota 4runner they had on the lot. I asked the ""gentleman"" (and I use that term very, very loosely) if I could take the vehicle for a test drive. He then proceeded to ask me why I wanted to take it for a test drive...At that point I should have walked out but I decided to see where this was going. I told him that i wanted to take it for a test drive because thats what you do when you want to buy a car...He told me that we ""don't do joyrides"" and that the car runs just fine. He asked if I was going to finance or pay cash in which I told him I was looking to pay cash. Now at that point you would think that he might change his tune a little bit...nope. He repeated to me several times that the car was ""fine"" and that he doesn't do joy rides. I work 6 days a week and have little to no free time. I took an hour plus out of my schedule to go and take a look at the vehicle and he acted as though I was wasting his time with joy rides when in fact he COMPLETELY wasted my time. If I had taken the truck for a ride and everything seemed ok, I would have paid 14,500 cash on the spot. I guess they are rich and don't need my money. I am still fuming about how I was just treated. I should have known that it was going to be a waste of time judging by the area of providence it was located in. I hope that the scumbag that ""helped"" me reads this review and realizes he could have made a 14,000 dollar sale today. Even though I doubt the guy can read anyway.
