Right after the eye exams as a regular checkup (both my wife and I), my wife started to have eye inflammation on her left eye. We went back in a few days to talk to Dr. Nguyen. her response was that they are not responsible for that because if their eye drop was a problem, why my wife has inflammation on only one eye, not both eyes. Luckily her symptom subsided within a week or so. Funnily, I started to having the same symptom on my left eye when her symptom subsided. I waited a couple of months so that the symptom goes away but it didn't. I went to see Dr. Nguyen but she was not available. I went back in a few weeks after calling ahead to make sure Dr. Nguyen is available. I explained the situation on the phone but Dr. Nguyen would not come to check my eye. Upon hearing about the situation on the phone, the receptionist checked my medical record before my arrival. The receptionist would say that I cannot see the doctor unless I paid for this new exam. She said that because I did not report my symptom within a few days, my symptom is not related to their exam. She also said that my symptom began not immediately after the exam so it is not related to their exam. I thought they were not very professional because my wife also had the same symptom and I explained the situation but Dr. would not come out even for a minute to check out the situation. Instead, they were asking for more money for a separate exam.
My wife and I never had any eye problem before visiting this clinic, my suspect is that they are using comtaminated eye drops or their equipment is not clean. One of my doctor (MD) friend told me that their eye drop could have done something on my tear gland or duct because the inflammation is there.
I am going to see an ophthalmologist to have my eye inflammation checked.
I hesitated on writing this review because I did not want to affect their business but I thought you may want to know what happened to me and my wife. I will never go back to this clinic for an exam exam.
