We have taken our Fords (Expedition, F350, Mustang) to No. Co. Ford, Heller Ford in Escondido and another in Carlsbad. No. Co. Ford is the worst of the 3 but we relent and go there from time to time because we live so close. We spent $2K+ for the 2000 Expedition in Dec 2011 and then in early April is was running rough so we took it back since we got an e-mail offer of 15% and a free oil change. Man did they take advantage of getting us in there! Estimate with 15% discount was $3200! They put everything except the kitchen sink into their estimate (did all that really go wrong since December and a few hundred miles?). I decided to just get rid of it. Sold it for $500 to a repair shop/car seller. But it cost me $150 for the analysis at Ford.
