After years and years living in the great city of Charleston, I have low expectations of he cabs here. I moved away 6 years ago and have realized the distance vs fair is more than reasonable in Charleston ($8.00 for a mile where I live vs $25 from downtown to Folly which is about 8 miles). Yes...cabs suck and Yellow is there with them but Friday night from Market to the round holiday inn with a random flag was $12. The ride down in A Yellow was $7 and the ride back was the same... THEY are CONSISTENT with pricing! Some will rip you off because they can!
