Dr. Ako is the best vet I have ever taken my dogs, birds, and rabbits to. He is very knowledgeable about all kinds of animals. He cares for my pets very well and he saved us a lot of money. When the other vet told us that our dog Kala'i needed very expensive surgery, we took her to Dr. Ako for a second opinion. He told us that she didn't need the surgery and told us what we should do for her. I wouldn't trust my pets with anyone else. I drive all the way from Ewa Beach to Kahala just to take my pets to see Dr. Ako. I like that he is humorous to ease everyone's worries, but isn't afraid to reprimand an owner if they are endangering their pets and explain the proper care for their animal.
