I brought in a pair of five year old light brown leather Ecco shoes (sort of casual non-boots) for a polish and clean. When they brought them back they looked, as my friend put it, as if I dripped crude oil on them. They did not take the laces off to polish the shoes, they SMEARED THE POLISH ON THE LACES. So when I got them back and pointed out that the shoes were no longer the same color, and that the area under the laces WAS still the same color they hemmed and hawed and pretended not to speak English. I asked them to at least polish under the laces so the whole shoe was the same now terrible color, they refused.
This was a $200 pair of shoes I've had for five years that they ruined so they could take $8 from me.
These are terrible terrible people who have no regard at all for their customers.
