I could have died from a Paul Masse repair 1/12/2012

I took my truck to them and they installed a new fuel pump. A while after i got my truck back a check engine light came on and I had since moved out of state. I paid $100 to a local garage to find out why the light was on and they told me the tank was not installed properly and it was leaking fumes at the top of the tank. I made an appointment at Paul Masse since the repair was under warranty and drove 2 hours to their dealer to get the problem fixed. I arrived at the dealer at 7:15 am and at noon they said my truck was ready. When I got in the truck I smelled gas but thought it was the mechanics clothes or maybe he had gas on his hands and touch the steering wheel. I started my truck and hit the highway. Over the course of 10 miles i was smelling gas so strong I had to pull over. I got out and looked under my truck at the gas tank and it was spewing gas, the entire tank was covered in gasoline. I was shocked, one spark and I could have died a fiery death. I was also in shock that I took it back to them because they did not repair my truck the first time and the second time I was put in a life threatening situation. I got my truck back to the dealer and in a couple of hours they say they fixed the problem. Imagine that it took 3 repairs to do one job, I took a day out of work, put my life at risk. Bottom line, I recommend you get your vehicle fixed anywhere that Paul Masse. I paid GM rates to get a GM repair and felt I got a mechanic working on my car that should not even be allowed to work in a garage at all. $90 an hour they charge and put my life at risk. more
