Took sportcoat in to have the sleeves shortened. 14 days later I picked-up the jacket. First, the lining was excessive and twisted. Second, the decorative buttons were sewn through the lining (not very neatly). Third, the cuff was starched and pressed to mask the POOR lining alteration. I returned sportcoat to store and showed the manager. Manager stated that the excess lining material was necessary and that sewing the decorative buttons through the ling would make it stronger. She offered to fix the button issue but would not fix the lining. I was afraid of her repairing the lining when she believed it was ok. WOW. When the coat is on, the sleeves DO NOT hang properly. Someone take away her thimble and thread.
