I had my LASIK surgery today, 9/1/11, and it was everything I was expecting plus more! This place was very clean, and kept up very well. The staff was extremely friendly, and helpful. They made me feel comfortable, and treated me like a person instead of a number. The consultation was easy, but very detailed. They advised me of all the provisions, outcomes, options, possibilities, everything! The surgery itself was quick, easy, and only slightly uncomfortable...but painless! My friend/driver was very much entertained since the operation room was all glass and she was able to watch the entire process! Not to mention they had two monitors up that showed a close up of my eyes during the operation. Needless to say we have pictures of this life changing event! :) Dr. Smith advised me to go straight home, keep my eyes closed as much as possible and to take a nap. He even gave me Tylenol PM so I wouldn't have any trouble sleeping for a few hours. As I scheduled my 24 hour follow up appointment the assistant was joking with me and very down to earth. She even gave me extra boxes of artificial tears for free. :) After my nap, I woke up to a message on my phone from Dr. Smith himself just calling to check up on me! Now that's personal and customized service! I would definitely recommend LasikPlus Plano, TX to anyone and everyone who is considering LASIK surgery! 5 Stars for sure!!!!
