I called to ask a question regarding drug interactions of Mirena and St. John's Wort, not about needing an exam of any sort - which I'd understand the need for an appointment. I was interrupted and told I'd have to make an appointment and that they ""couldn't possibly be able to answer something like that over the phone"" (maybe she couldn't, but the doctor probably could have). The woman was fairly rude about it. The least she could have done was written down my question and asked the doctor before writing me off. So in return, I'll go elsewhere for my next exam. The doctor might be great for all I know, but based on my brief phone conversation I'd rather give someone else my money.
