I have never had such horrible medical attention. I took my thirteen year old daughter to the Minute Clinic b/c we suspected a sinus infection. Her heart rate was at 112 so they said it's their policy to refer patients out if their heart rate is over 100. We arrived at NextCare at 7:45 (fifteen minutes before they closed) and we were the only ones there. I apologized for arriving right before closing time. From the start, the woman at the front was rude and arrogant. She cut me off & asked for my id, insurance card and $75 co-pay. We were taken to a room by the nurse who was dressed sloppy and was writing on a piece of notebook paper ripped out of a notebook folded in four pieces?? Weird. Then she took us to another room & it was at that time that the first woman tried to tell me my insurance card was invalid even though I had used it just 10-15 minutes before and they verified it. I asked her to run it again and she said, ""You're asking me to do the same thing twice like it's going to make any difference?"" I told her she was rude & kept cutting me off. The doctor was sitting there listening to the entire thing and never interjected to help. Long story short, I feel she just wanted us to leave b/c I called my corporate office AND BCBS this morning and our insurance is active and my daughter has coverage. I had just come from the gym and I feel I was treated poorly based on the way that I looked. I called and spoke to Betty & then to Nancy, the office manager to let them know I was filing a formal complaint with the BBB and writing a poor review. Both woman were VERY nice and understanding. It's just a shame they aren't the ones that are representing the company in the front of the office. I will never go back there and I will tell everyone I know about the horrible service I received. They would not treat my daughter and now we have to go to her pediatrician this morning for care. I'M ONLY GIVING THEM 1 STAR B/C THE SYSTEM REQUIRES A RATING IN ORDER TO POST A REVIEW.
