Bed Bug Infestation in Multiple Rooms 6/24/2011

Around June 15, 2011 a lady who had been staying on the second floor (only 3 floors to this hotel and 60 rooms) took a bedbug to the front desk. The management did not notify their maids on that floor until at least a day later. According to Holiday Inn National Customer Service representative no report had been made to them by Saturday June 18, 2011. They said their protocol was that a report was to be made to them immediately upon someone making bedbugs known to the hotel and then the room cordoned off and an inspection made and proper removal etc. They reiterated that no report had been made to them. Someone notified the Craig County Health Department. They sent their environmental inspector Sharon (918-542-0484). On Tuesday, June 21, 2011, the hotel manager Julie and the owner Sonnie Patel stated that the mattresses from two rooms were laying on a flatbed out in the sun.
