As a watch collector for over 30 years, I've come to find out the hobby absolutely requires the services of a good watchmaker.
Much of my collecting interest is focused on Rolex watches; for which the repair cost is usually substantial, especially when using the Rolex Service Centers. And, like all large corporations, it is impossible to know who will work on your watch when it is sent in for repair or refurbishment.
This brings me to David Throckmorton. David is a local guy with over 30 years of watch making experience. He is a true “watchmaker” not a repair guy hacker. His work for me has been impeccable. He has completed all work as promised, on time, and on budget. He takes a strong personal interest in his work, which shows up in the finished product. He is simply the best independent watchmaker I have run across in all my years as a collector.
