Just moved to Dallas area and wanted to support my kid's school as well as explore the local culinary delights. After reading the rave reviews, I decided to take the family out for a real authentic Italian meal. The decor in the restaurant reminds me of a family run business - one that takes pride in its history and product. So I was excited about tasting the food. HOWEVER, simple marina sauce was made with canned tomatoes - I make sauce at home from scratch! Pasta penne suggested by the hostess was overcooked. The shrimp couldn't have been messed up because it was drowning in butter...save your money. Overpriced and lacked quality. The people are nice, but the food was disappointing.
