Things seemed wonderful at first. After they handed me the keys, the pleasantries stopped. When you meet with Ashlie to show you the apartment, that's the last you'll see her or speak to her. The receptionist intercepts all calls. The management at Dave Poletti & Associates are pure negligent. Numerous complaints have been filed by many tenants about the drug activity going on in our apartment building near the University. Not only is the activity illegal, against Poletti's rental rules, but it also provides for a dangerous environment where no one feels safe. As long as they get the rent, they don't care. Every person that has moved out of our building has said Poletti has kept all or most of their deposit with a list of bogus charges. This makes it very hard for us struggling students to just move and lose $1000. Notice that the high ratings on most of the websites are vendors that work for Poletti, property owners, or just BS that have been put on her by Poletti & Associates staff. (you can tell by the language in some of the reviews that they aren't written by REAL tenants) If you're looking for an apartment -- look somewhere else. You may think it's all nice and Poletti's staff are easy to work with in the beginning, but by the time you move out, it will be one of the worst experiences you've ever had.
