First of all Oak Floors is not affiliated with the Better Business Bureau as stated on Oakfloorsbyconti. Todd Conti's contract uses the National Wood Flooring Association's logo. Not a member either. The BBB and the NWFA has sent Todd Conti letters telling him to stop using or advertising he is affiliated with them. Better Business Bureau gives him a F rating. Oak Floors made a mess of my floors. They applied the wrong color, did not fill nail holes and gaps. I have paint on my floors that wasn't removed and the new woodwork they installed is cut wrong. The so called stain was applied with a long handle roller not hand rubbed as advertised. There are spots where nothing was applied to lines and marks where too much was applied. The moulding of my doorways was ground away at floor level until there was a groove. They scratched my new steel doors and put a small dent in the door. My entry way tile was scratched along with my main front wood door. Also there are hammer marks on the new moulding they installed. When the finish was applied it was slopped on the existing woodwork and on my walls. Todd Conti does not guarantee satisfaction. He refused to fix the problem and stated he would have to resand my floors to correct the problem. Then he stated he can't make money this way if he fixed what they did. I refused to pay him and guess what he is sueing me for this mess he created and his words were ""I've been in litigation before"". He also threatened to lien our house. Beware people. He does not care about your satisfaction and he falsely advertises. Also the Attorney General has a complaint form I'm going to fill out as he seems to be in violation of Section 445.903 Michigan Consumer Protection Act.
