I tried traditional barbershops and wasn't satisfied with the shabby interior and shabby talk. I priced other salons and was turned off by the cost for a man's haircut. Eve's shop in North Slope is small but attractive, and she gave me an excellent, quick haircut with attention to detail for $20. With all those pluses, you can be sure I'll return. Don't forget to tip, fellas.
