I just saw this Dr. yesterday for the first time. My MD did blood work and indicated I see a specialist immediately due to double levels of insulin. He was very nice and everyone there was friendly, however, he told me I was probably hypoglycemic, or my pancreas could be just producing too much insulin, or that there could be tumors producing insulin. He asked my symptons, when I told him and explained what aleiviated them, he told me "well, some doctors to surgeries and that's not always the best thing for you and that I should just eat snacks to prevent the onset of this since that is the easiest and most pleasant way to handle it. I would think if you suspect tumors, you would want to rule that out??? He also didn't think that sugar readings in the 60's were anything to worry about. I'll wait to get the blood work results from him, but I'm scheduling with a new doctor today!!!!
