Timpano is the best all-around restaurant on Las Olas-and we've tried them all. \r

The atmosphere is excellent, especially when the live band plays on weekends. The food is always superb. And the fresh pasta (the spaghettini and plum tomatoes) is simply the best Italian dish on a street known for good food--pure, simple, fresh ingredients combined to create great flavors. The wedge salad is always perfect (the people at Rok Brgr should try it and learn from it). And the balsamic reduction on the tomato flatbread is to die for.\r

They also have an excellent wine list (though the beer list could be better).
