Both my nephews have been attending whiz kids for about 4 months now. Just last week, my sister had to pull them out of whiz kids for the simple reason of neglect from the daycare. While at whiz kids, my one-yr old nephew ran a high fever, but none of the staff bothered to check on him or even call my sister! As an auntie, I was so angry with the simple fact that they didn't bother to do anything, imagine how my sister felt finding her 1-yr-old son laying limp in a crib while his caretaker greets her with a smile when she came to pick them up after work. Had my sister worked overtime, she would not have known that her son was running a high fever all day without any medical care. After my sister picked my two nephews up, she had to rush her baby to the hospital.
I definitely do NOT recommend anyone to put their kids in the care of Whiz Kids staff. It's overcrowded and by the end of the day, my nephews always seemed so tired. They never get the essential naps that they're supposed to be getting cause their caretakers never make them, since they have too many other kids to tend to.
As a parent, or an auntie, we feel responsible and burdened for having placed our nephews in such a risk.
