Very Bad Experience 2/28/2011

I purchased a John Deere tractor from them in 2001 and had a good experience. I deceided to upgrade and bought a 2008 Cub Cadet GT 1554 Tractor. On my first use, it bent one of the steering arms - tractor had less than an hour on it. Took it back to Kerry's and 3 days after I purchased it and they said it was not a warranty item and I would need to pay to have it installed - $70. I ordered the part ($13) and installed it myself . Then after 8 hours it kept throwing a belt. I took it back at the beginning of the next season and they could not find any issues with it, but charged me $50 to look at the problem and sharpen the blades - I never asked for the blades to be sharpened. When I got it home, I noticed the blades never were sharpended. I called Kerry and he admitted them made a mistake and did not sharpen the blades. He offered to sharpen them for me, if I dropped the tractor off. The tractor kept throwing the belt almost each time I used it. The deck rollers completely wore out after 20 hours. After 2 years I was tired of the issues I was having with the unit. I decided to trade it in. I purchased the tractor in May 2008. When I went to trade it in (9/2010) they ran the serial number and found out it was manuafactured in 2/2007 - it was 15 months old when I purchased it from Kerry's. They told me it was a 2008 model when I got it - but they lied.. I traded it in for a John Deere and will never look back . This was the worst experience I had - they are so unethical and non-customer focused. It appears they also lost their John Deere dealership status - with this kind of behavor it is no wonder why! more
