Our 1973 home was on its original furnace an HVAC, so we figured it was time for an upgrade. We got bids from 4 contractors after very quickly down-selecting to two we went with Genz.
Our salesman was extremely friendly, respectful, educational, and thorough. He didn't try to over-sell us, and in fact talked me OUT of some more expensive options that just didn't fit my needs.
A geo-thermal install is not simple. It involves sub-contracting and a lot of moving parts. My install manager did a great job of coordinating everything, keeping me up to speed, and executing the project. The sub-contractors were all very friendly.
I am of the belief that for any project of this magnitude expecting no mistakes is just completely impractical. Expecting the company to do everything they can to make sure you're satisfied, however, should be the standard. In this Genz-Ryan both promised, and delivered.
My system was installed in the cooling season. When it flipped into heating it was just a bit noisier than I expected. They came out and fixed it. No shirking, no fuss. Fantastic experience.
I am now a customer of Genz-Ryan as long as they keep the business as this fine of a level.
