The nightmare started when Village Bridal measured my daughter for a dress that they ordered for her at the shop. When the dress came in it was very apparent that they had botched the measurements because the torso was a foot longer than it should have been. The waistline fell somewhere on her hips, etc. At this point it was too late to reorder another dress and we were assured the dress could be altered so we did not seek compensation for the dress. Upon completion of alterations the dress was returned to us in horrible condition: the lining no longer laid flat under lace overlay; there was black grease on the lining from the sewing machine; the dress was completely askew and did not hang straight any longer. WARNING: DO NOT TRUST YOUR SPECIAL MEMORIES WITH THIS STORE!!
