I was so disappointed. My 13 year old son and I have had a rough year as my 14 mos old daughter is medically sick. Tonight, we were celebrating that Daddy got to take her out of state to see family and we got to spend some quality time alone. Being that we have nurses in our home everyday for 12 hours, being in and out of the hospital, it's been really difficult. We thought we'd try Genos because it's so close to home. My son ordered something with steak and pasta. The meat was burnt on the outside and raw with blood on the inside. He has been on the toilet since we got home. :( I ordered an appetizer with eggplant and it was burnt and the cheeze was rubbery. I ordered the seafood manicotti and it came partially burnt with too much (vinegar, sherry?) of whatever it was in the sauce. I saved scarce money to take my son out to make him feel special and was dissapointed that the bill came to $41 for food in an extremely small portion. The food took too long to serve. I LOVED the atmosphere and told my son this is going to be my favorite place, but now that I tasted the food, I don't know that we'll be back. :( As I write this, my stomach is getting upset. Geno I know you're trying and I commend you, but I think the food could be cooked better, the portion bigger with the price, or make the price less with the portion. jlsjuzchilln@y-a-h-o-o-dot-c-o-m
