Yes La Quinta takes dogs, however if your dog barks, don't stay here! While at a conference I received a call from the manager telling me I needed to return NOW and quite my dog. I stressed to him I was stuck at a conference for another hour and could not get back before then. He threatened me that he was going to call Animal Control and tell them they had an ""unruly dog"" in the room and they need to remove it. As a pet owner, can you imagine? I asked him how he could say that considering she was not tearing up anything and once the hallway was quite she would stop, if she heard knocking outside the door she would as most dogs do bark. He was mean, told me I was irresponsible and could just check out. Come to find out, the barking dog causing the problem was not mine... it was the room across the hall which I found to be the case when I'm in my room with a quite dog and received a call while the dog across the hall was barking! I will NEVER stay at a LaQuinta again!
