In reading the other reviews, I guess it depends on which sales person you work with.
I recently (Saturday 9/11/2010) had a good experience at Kenjo's Midtown location working with Dario. By no means was I shopping for the most expensive watch in the store - For context I purchased a Hamilton Jazzmaster Automatic / Chrono / 27 jewel count / skeleton back. Dario was professional, knowledgeable and was not hard selling anything - We came to terms on a fair deal.
Overall I was happy with the experience and would buy there again. I have not worked with anyone else at either Kenjo location, but I recommend asking for Dario if you go into the 57th street store.
