Dry Cleaning 9/1/2010

Dry Cleaning does use a liquid but it isn?t wet meaning that it does not contain any moisture/water. This means that it is designed to remove dry side stains like wax, oils, grease, cosmetics ect.. so while it will penetrate and remove these it will not dissolve wet side stains like food mud ketchup ect... these stains must be removed using steam or spotting chemicals prior to and sometimes after the dry-cleaning process. This also means that if you put an aspirin pill in your pocket the dry-cleaning solvent will not break it down. It will not dissolve like it would if you placed it in a glass of water or in your washing machine since pills are designed to break down in water. Same as a ketchup stain it would be removed with steam fairly easily depending on the fabric it was on. Country Cleaners does clean. And they do clean a lot of my clothes if you have any question of this I?m sure if you go there you can see for yourself as the whole front of the building is glass so you can see them pressing and cleaning the clothes from the parking lot. more
