Very scary and painful experience at Salon Cielo at Columbia Mall. I was getting a ""mild"" relaxer from a charming, 20-somthing stylist. Because she did not base my scalp, I almost immediately felt chemical burns on my scalp. I let her know but she was nonchalant. Ultimately, I got up and said I couldn't stand the pain. Apparently, she did not now the safety or technical procedures to quickly get the relaxer off my scalp. She rubbed my scalp which made the burns worse and I everntually walked out with shampoo in my hair and very serious burns on my scalp. I'm folloiwng a dermatologist's treatment to help the healing. The pain was unbearable. My scalp is a scabby, painful mess. The worst part: no one in the salon did anything except watch the drama. No one came to my assistance or that of the stylist. May the seriousness of chemical burns from relaxers is not taken seriously by Cielo. Enter with cauthion
