I found this place accidently. Like many great bbq joints, it's old and rickety and looks like it's about to fall down any moment. And the sweet smoky smell that eminates from it is like a siren song. \r

The two old guys than run the place have been in the game for decades, and it shows in everything they cook, from the ribs to the sausages to the excellent sides and desserts. \r

Speaking of sides, unlike most old school joints, these guys have a great selection of side dishes and desserts. Be sure to try the dessert made with 7-Up. I don't remember what it's called, but there's a sign on the wall advertising it. \r

By far the best barbecue I've had in San Antonio!
