Woodlake on the Bayou has a poor decentralized management model, which makes it hard to get issues resolved. Corporate office keeps passing the bark and will not follow up on issues while onsite management will refer you to their Richdale office so as to avoid dealing with issues such as overcharging and giving your deposit back. They once had an excellent manager called John but they moved him to God knows where and replaced him with a glorified leasing agent who has no clue as how to resolve tenant complaints. They demand high deposits which they do not intend to pay back. I left the apartment reasonable clean but they found a way to charge me for carpet and put unwarranted late charges on my rent. Do not move here. Apartment could be good but need good management structure and qualified personnel.
Pros: Wooded area in back
Cons: unresponsive management
