I've never been to Pomona, given that I live thousands of miles from Brooklyn. But, in looking up my old friend, I've found this link to her salon. And here's what I can say: Laurie was a fine-art major in college who did remarkable work sculpting a block of marble. So it's no surprise that, as her customers report, she also shapes beautiful heads of hair. She's a lovely human being, too, and has been ever since the seventh grade.
